SUMMARY:Regional Advanced Safety Coordinator Training - at Town of Mamaroneck
DESCRIPTION:Presented by PERMA public works risk management specialist Ed Starowicz\, this program is the final installment of the Safety Coordinator training and will cover Advanced Safety Coordinator duties with a focus on policies\, procedures and activities to help you create and maintain a safe workplace.  Completion of both this course and the basic training course fulfills the Safety Coordinator training requirements outlined in the Safety Program section of the PERMA Program Agreement. Topics of discussion will include: \n\nSafety committees\nGeneral office safety\nEmergency evacuation\nSubstance abuse\nWorkplace bullying prevention\nTransitional duty\n\nPlease RSVP to svompa@neami.com by September 24. \nCertificates of completion will be sent out after the conclusion of the Advanced courses in November. If you have not yet taken the Basic Safety Coordinator course\, it is available to take online at the PERMA Safety Institute.
