SUMMARY:Postponed: Safe Stretcher Handling Program
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Presenters: Pete Frisoni\, PERMA Public Safety Risk Management Specialist\, Brian Budinich\, Emergency Care Account Manager; Mellissa Bates\, Northeast Regional Manager; Kellie Smith\, Emergency Care Specialist; and Joshua Kisselbrack\, Emergency Care Account Manager. \nPatient movement is the backbone of all ambulance operations.  It is the job task that is performed for almost every job assignment\, with great frequency and repetition.  As such\, the hazards associated with stretcher operation are often overlooked or taken for granted. Medic safety is key in reducing injuries and increasing productivity. \nThe principles and best practices taught in this course represent best practice performance expectations while operating and handling a stretcher. \nThe intent of this training is to prepare all caregivers to use safe mechanics and provide safe transportation of non-ambulatory patients who require the use of a stretcher. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
